Fact about Ghana
Here are some hard facts on West Africa. The average YEARLY wage there is less than $500usd, a home internet connection costs more than $100usd MONTHLY! Only the very rich have internet in there homes, most homes are lucky if they even have electricity let alone home internet. The scammers all work out of the many internet cafe's that are there and women are NOT allowed in the cafe's unless accompanied by a man. There are no "real" people online from these countries, only scammers. All the real people there can't afford to be online and wouldn't know how even if they could.
The scammers work in cells of 6 to 8 young Nigerians aged 14 to 35, the cells all work out of kits provided by other cells. The kits include pictures they know have worked in the past, scripts for every scenario, (male,female,gay,straight,married,single,disabled) they include profile information to use and of course a list of "good mugu's" (a list of people who are known to at least write back to scammers.) They then use these kits to create hundreds, even thousands of fake profiles on every site they can. So there could be thousands of profiles out there using those pics yet not ONE of them is the same scammer or even same scammer cell.

Sham/fraudulent Marriage to get visa to uk I have been a victim of Shem marriage. I am a British Citizen I met a man who declared his love for me when I was in Kumase and later forced me to KMA and fraudulently got us married and later forced me to help him get a Uk visa. I managed to convince him I was going to apply it ASAP when I get to UK of which I did not now I'm concerned that he may use that marriage certificate to try and get visa as he seems desperate to get the UK Visa so I need a phone number of the embassy visa section to forward his details and passport number before it's late
