I am a Uk citizen and resident and have invited a friend to come for a holiday to the Uk,with the view of coming at a later date to work for 6 months in the Uk.he is a cape verdean citizen and resident.how does he apply for a UK visitor visa and after his holiday,for a work visa.i have written a letter of invitation to say he will b staying at my house and that i will provide all his living and transport expenses while on vacation in the Uk.he holds a valid passport but is struggling to find out about the visas.do any of the cape verde islands issue visas?any advise would be gratefully received.
