Someone on whatsapp group of ICT/CSV is claiming that he had email sent from secretary of minister of home affairs in pretoria to get his visa on time. Please stop giving false hopes to the people. Nothing like this happens. Maybe your docs were right that's why you got your visa and not because of imaginary email.

There is a note on the VFS website that my Application is dispatched thru Bluedart. I guess there was a huge backlog and things are moving now.

Today evening I got a SMS saying visa for South Africa has been processed and passport has been handed over to blue dart courier .I too applied on 16th of Feb 2017 in Bangalore vfs office.So probably u shd too get it soon.check SMS if u have enabled it .
applied on 9 Feb. today is 14th working day, still no update. too slow in terms of processing. understand that other tourist visas applied through Agents get processed w/in 5 days
I guess we just need to wait. There are no concrete answers. Have you tried calling them and checking out? Even then there would not be any concrete answers though.
I rescheduled my flight and waiting still!

I submitted my SOUTH AFRICA visa application on the 16th Feb to the VFS Global office in Bangalore, havent received my visa till now. My flight is on the 3rd March early morning. The website says it takes 5 working days but nothing has come through.I have also told vfs that i can collect the passport from Mumbai. But nothing from them yet. It is one the worst experience that i have had
I have submitted a request letter to VFS for fast processing because of my timeline, they are not clearly telling us what is happening. It's a tensed situation coz my holiday is paid for and if this doesnt go through i loose out on lots of money.

I had applied for a Visitor's Visa and yet there are no updates after 15 days. Any delay at the Consulate or is it a ongoing practice? The website mentions that they would take about 5 to 7 working days. Any info on this would be highly appreciated. Thanks
