I AM IN DISBELIEF AT THE CRAP SERVICE AT THIS PLACE. I HAVE LEFT MESSAGES AND SENT EMAIL, BOTH UNANSWERED.

I NEED TO KNOW A) WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO SHOW TO GET A PORTUGUESE PASSPORT B)HOW LONG DOES THE PROCESS TAKE AND C) WHAT IS THE COST???

Sounds simple... but I think I can get open heart surgery scheduled faster!!!

WHAT IS THE POINT OF US AIRING OUR ISSUES WHEN THIS DISCLAIMER IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS SITE:

Not looking forward to attending the Consulate for my needs
After reading some of the commentary here, I am not surprised. As a dual citizen, i am extremely proud of my background an heritage, however, I am not looking forward to dealing with the likes of consular staff as described here. My children are first generation Canadian and excited at the prospect of obtaining their second Citizenship status. It would be a terribly embarrassing experience for all if we are to encounter such disappointment.

You need to update this Website!!!!
As it turns out the hours of operation are wrong! Apparently the office closes at 2pm, although this site says 3:30pm. I made special arrangements to go downtown only to find the door locked. I proceeded to ring the buzzer and was greeted by a rude individual. I was told that he could not help and to "come back tomorrow"... Really? When I showed him the site hours on my phone he simply said it was not his problem.... No apology, no empathy..nothing.. I would like to think that the people representing our country here have a little more class and treat people as they would like to be treated..

No respect for anyone - regardless of age of disability
Old parents with terrible pain waited 5 hours to finally be served to then return 150 km home in rush hour traffic. Most unprofessional, group of self-righteous, pompous, rude, disrespectful people.
They should all be fired! Why is this allowed? The Consulate should be audited. What an embarrassment.

why bother
why bother complaining on this site if nobody from the consulate looks at this is there a website where it is being monitored to benifit our questions and difficulties with our customer service complaints?
