in your earlier message you said you had received a appointment mail on fourth May and appointment after a week which you attended.

And in your second last message you say, you still not got appointment which you applied in June last year.

cancellation of indian documents
could someone who’s done it before please advise me on how to cancel my indian documents and obtain an oci while still in india. i would need an entry stamp and visa if i’m not wrong once my indian passport is cancelled. how do i go about obtaining that?

One more thing some people go and wait outside the embassy gate at five am or six am no need to go so early, gate opens at nine am and every one will be sent inside, but priority is given for elderly people, small children etc, for a day they have certain slots and they will finish it all that day they will not send u home saying time is up, so u can be there at eight am, first the security will check yr documents and keep u in q to send u inside.

Please don't get penic if you'll have not received yr BI appointments don't worry everyone will get it in eleven months from the date of application as per my recent this month experience, there are many people one this page who misguide and share fake info, even I saw someone shared that she got appointment in this month who applied last year in August and I'm like I'm saying I applied in June why I didn't get my appointment date so. My friend told me please don't trust some info from this page some people are not serious just want to do timepass, everyone is worried when will I see that one mail in my inbox,so be alert what info u take from this page. I always wrote what I know is true n shared my experience so that it would help someone God bless

As per my friend shared experience, once you receive yr CC, take a passport appointment and wait until u get passport appointment Email same like CC, but passport appointments you'll get fast it takes fifteen to twenty days now a days to get passport appointment then passport collection one month if you need early just drop a mail to consulate they will do fast as possible now a days they do it it seems. Once passport is collected u have to do yr indian documents cancelation that u can take help from yr agent. But keep one thing in mind now a day embassy is doing little better compared to last year bcoz they want to finish pending applications.

Assento de nascimento no THE NUMBER mentioned on top of your assente paper to be entered as document number and for passport number which comes on envelope after appointment. Hope this is not confusing.

After you get your CC, you apply for passport.

Same as Cc, you attend the appointment for passport and again go and collect it?

Let us know pls if you know the procedure after Cc collection?
