I'm afraid to give my real name, after reading the reviews, I see this is going to go nowhere. It is disgraceful.
On May 5 2015 I apply for Dual Citizenship in Philadelphia gave all my documents from my family History. They gave me the run around and kept all the papers plus my money and not only disrespectful to me and to Italy.
Sono rimasto molto sbalorditto quando un cittadino cerca di mettersi in contantto con un rappresentante del consolato Italiano. Le ore di aperture sono molto limitate, nel web non c'e' niete di valore,..non si puo chiamare al telefono, bisogna fare appuntamentti..con chi, quando nessuno risponde al telefono.
Se per caso un rapresentante dal consolato legge questo messaggio, magari mi puo' rispondere con qualche informazione su certe domande di mio interesse..
MY MOTHER WAS HIT BY A CAR IN PESCARA, ITALY BACK IN MARCH 2016. SHE IS HAD SOME KIND OF BRAIN INJURY AND CANNOT MAKE IMPORTANT DECISIONS. I JUST LEARNED THAT THE POWER OF ATTORNEY WRITTEN IN THE USA IS INVALID. I PAID A CERTIFIED ENGLISH/ ITALIAN TRANSLATOR THAT WAS RECOMMENDED BY THE ITALIAN EMBASSY IN NEWARK, NJ TO TRANSLATE IT. THE COST WAS $150 USD. A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. NOW I HAVE MORE PROBLEMS. A LAWYER IN ITALY WAS NOT HELPFUL. WILLIAM

Applied about a year ago for dual citizenship. No news whatsoever! Was lied to about how long it will take. Thoroughly disgusted. Does anyone else have a story like this?
