I need to renew my passapot, what do I need to do?
My father who past away years ago was born and raised in Italy. He moved to South America (Uruguay) where he married and had a family.
I am one of his son's and I am an American citizen by process of Naturalization.
Question:
I am I considered an Italian citizen because of my father? is there any documentation needed as proof?
I would like to possibly retire in Palinuro, Italia.

I live in Indianapolis, IN. Should I work with the Italian Consulate in Detroit or the Italian Consulate in Chicago to obtain a long stay visa? My wife and I who want to live in Florence for 9 months and travel through Italy as tourists in 2019.
My green card and my social security # has my married name , but my present passport has maiden name only. can I travel like this out of the country or is this a problem?

I am an American now living in Milan. I have a BS in Nursing and a BA in German, and I am trying to obtain the Declaration of Value so that I can eventually work as a nurse in Italy as well. I travel to italy and in need of Codice Fiscale so I can open bank account. This is my closest Italian Embassy, can you help me receive one if I come to your office? I was just in italy two weeks ago and they told me that I need this Codice Fiscale to do anything?
