Comments on this Consulate-General
Hi I want to visit Vancouver for a day only to visit my aunt but I have only a green card and have a Philippines passport, do I need a visa? Thank you.
My Daughter and I want to visit my sister,in Toronto,Ontario,Canada. My Question is ;The U.S.passport validity date of my daughter will expire on August 28, 2013,and we will visit my sick sister for 5 days on 1st week of July , from July 5 2013 to July 10, 2013. Can she still be allowed to use her passport to enter Canada with her U.S. Passport expiring by August 28,2013 ?? And after 5 days will be going home back to AriZona ,U.S.A. We will be traveling by Airlines.
Thanks very much,
I had the opportunity to visit the Canadian Consulate office in downtown Los Angeles, today. The staff (security guard on the 9th floor and other staff) were extremely rude in their behavior. Not only they were extremely unhelpful, they were downright rude in their comments and their demeanour.
If the Canadian Govt. trained them to be rude to visitors trying to get travel visa to visit their country, they are quite successful. In this day and age I cannot think of an organization that can be so rude to their clients and get away with that (has to be a govt. employee).
I would like to go for a conference in august of 2013, bit I am concerned. I had received a reduced charge dir a DUI, wet reckless. Should I just cancel the conference.
