ZAMBIANS TAX PAYERS ARE TO PAY MORE AS TAZAMA CHANGES ENGINES
Seriously,we are going to suffer. The whistle blower underlined one item only.Other issues are resurfacing as time goes on.Nowadays, the running of the new engines is 50 percent crude oil to 50 percent gasoil.Further more, the auto operation of the machines is questionable bacause the project was not coordinated well.In fact ,the project is nothing but a two men show though Mr. kikula is the one most to blame .
We have evidence that the bosses are now trying to to convince the board of directors on Tanzania side to stand with them during the next board meeting so that they can extend their contracts. The weak reason is that they can not leave all at once. Why ? what is meaning of succession plan which we have started to hear from them since year 2005.These guys are over aged and some of them can not even walk properly.Their interest is to siphon from the company. This time ,all workers Tanzanians and Zambians are united and we are saying 'NO' to any move likely to be orchestrated by Tanzanian directors aimed at protecting and keep the people who are busy exploiting our company.

In fact all these problems in Tazama have been caused by Mr. Kikula. The MD Mr. Muzelenga is just bulldozed. There is no way a director can be on top of everything and the MD is just watching.Kikula has nothing to loose. After all he is not a zambian and he knows that he will not be answerable.

ZAMBIANS TAX PAYERS ARE TO PAY MORE AS TAZAMA CHANGES ENGINES
TAZAMA bosses are now busy travelling to meet employees
and tying to convince them that the decision to replace the engines was good and that engineers in Zambia and Tanzania were involved. This is a lie.

This is critical information. Please tell us how much it was costing to run the old engines per month for us to make a useful comparison. Tazama machines are huge marine/ship engines. These are what is being replaced. In addition tell us if the contractor engineer is working every day. ZMK 7million or USD1500 for such huge engines running 24/7 is not day light robbery unless I have not understood the whistle blower well.

My Godness ! Mr. Kalambo ,does that mean a fuel filter is replaced after every 8 hours? No,the goverment of Zambia must clear this mess. Are these engines supposed to run on crude oil ? During the investigation,MANTRAC (USA) should be involved.I guess Tazama was fooled by the egyptians.

ZAMBIANS TAX PAYERS ARE TO PAY MORE AS TAZAMA CHANGES
I AM TRYING TO THINK THAT THE WHISTLE BLOWER ON TAZAMA PIPELINE PROJECTS DESERVED A GREAT REWARD FROM ZAMBIAN GOVERNMENT AND THE NATION AS WHOLE.BUT WITH A BIG SUPRISE NO STATEMENT HAS BEEN MADE FROM THE MINISTRY CONCERNED OR THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD WHICH IMPLIES THAT ALL ARE INVOLVED IN THE SAGA. SEE WHAT IS THE MESS MAKUMBI UNCOVERED FOR OUR ECONOMY AS ZAMBIANS.
==================================================

Dear Zambians: see bellow the cost of running one station as the result of poor decision by Tazama pipelines Management and its Board of Directors.
Kigamboni pumping station has four new engines out of which 3 Engines are running 24/7.
The cost am talking is on two items only and they are:
1.0 Fuel filters
2.0 Local Engineer cost per day from Mantrac (T) ltd
Look:
Filters 5pcs X 3 Engines = 15 pcs
Each filter 70,000 x 15 pcs x 3 shifts = 3,150,000/=
Local Engineer per day = 1,630,000/=
TOTAL PER DAY 1& 2 = 4,680,000 FOR KIGAMBONI ONLY AS ITS NOW.
LOOK: 30 DAYS X 4,680,000 = 140,400,000/=
LOOK: 12MONTHS X 140,400,000 = 1,684,800,000/= PER YEAR.
REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY ONE STATION FILTERS AND ENGINNER COST IN TSHS.
THEY WANT TO CHANGE 7 STATIONS IMAGINE!!!
PLEASE ZAMBIANS WAKE UP FOR THE COST WILL BE YOURS.
LOOK: IN KWACHA IS 5 X 140,400,000 = ZK 7,020,000 PER MONTH. FOR FILTERS AND ENGINEER COST!!!
LET THE GOVERNMENT SEE THIS ONE AND ACT.

True Ba Mwene. In fact ,in Tazama there is a small group of people who live in paradise. There is no way a Zambian minister can compete with a tazama boss. They sell for themselves company vehicles after every three years and and get new ones. They have garages at home lined with very good vehicles bought from tazama.Them have nothing to loose after all most of them are over aged and have worked beyond retirement age.
