‘আমিরাতে কর্মী পাঠাতে আরো অপেক্ষা করতে হবে’
পররাষ্ট্র প্রতিমন্ত্রী শাহরিয়ার আলম বলেছেন, ‘সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাতে (ইউএই) শ্রমিক নিয়োগকারী প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোর নিয়োগপ্রক্রিয়া পুনর্বিন্যাস কাজ এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে। দেশটিতে ‘নিয়মিত কর্মী’ পাঠাতে বাংলাদেশকে আরো অপেক্ষা করতে হবে।’ সোমবার ঢাকার গুলশানে ইউএই দূতাবাসের কনস্যুলার শাখার উদ্বোধন অনুষ্ঠান শেষে পররাষ্ট্র প্রতিমন্ত্রী সাংবাদিকদের এসব কথা বলেন। শাহরিয়ার আলম বলেন, ‘আমরা এ বিষয়ে (কর্মী পাঠাতে) কাজ করছি। আমিরাতের ভিসা দেওয়া পুরোপুরি বন্ধ হয়নি।’ একই সঙ্গে তিনি বলেন, আধুনিক কনস্যুলার শাখা চালুর ফলে বাংলাদেশ থেকে ইউএইতে বড় পরিসরে কর্মী পাঠানোর বিষয়ে আশার সঞ্চার হয়েছে। এমন কনস্যুলার শাখা দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার আর কোনো দেশে নেই। এমনকি আমিরাতের বাইরে এটি চতুর্থ কেন্দ্র। তিনি আরও বলেন, এই কনস্যুলার শাখা বাংলাদেশিদের ভিসা আবেদন যাচাই-বাছাইয়ে স্বচ্ছতা নিশ্চিত করবে। ইউএইতে যাওয়ার পর বাংলাদেশিরা বিমানবন্দরে দীর্ঘ লাইনে অপেক্ষা না করে ই-গেটের মাধ্যমে নির্বিঘ্নে দেশটিতে প্রবেশ করতে পারবে। দুবাইয়ে অনুষ্ঠেয় ‘ওয়ার্ল্ড এক্সপো-২০২০’কে ঘিরে সৃষ্ট সুযোগ বাংলাদেশ কিভাবে কাজে লাগাতে পারে জানতে চাইলে পররাষ্ট্র প্রতিমন্ত্রী বলেন, ‘এমন সুযোগ (অনেক কাজের সুযোগ সৃষ্টি হয়েছে) সব সময় আসে না। দুবাই এক্সপোকে বিবেচনায় রেখে সব কিছু করা হচ্ছে।’ এদিকে ইউএইর পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের কনস্যুলার অ্যাফেয়ার্স বিষয়ক অ্যাসিস্ট্যান্ট আন্ডার সেক্রেটারি আহমেদ আহলান সাংবাদিকদের জানান, বাংলাদেশিদের ভিসা দেওয়ার বিষয়ে কোনো নিষেধাজ্ঞা ইউএইর নেই। আমিরাতে নিয়োগকারী প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোর জন্য নতুন একটি ব্যবস্থা চালু হয়েছে। কম্পানিগুলোতে নিয়োগপ্রক্রিয়া পুনর্বিন্যাস কার্যক্রম সম্পন্ন করতে হবে। এর আগে পররাষ্ট্র প্রতিমন্ত্রী মো. শাহরিয়ার আলম ও ঢাকায় ইউএই রাষ্ট্রদূত ড. সাঈদ বিন হাজার আল শেহি গুলশানে কনস্যুলার শাখার উদ্বোধন করেন। ২২ ডিসেম্বর, ২০১৫/এমটিনিউজ২৪ডটকম/জুবায়ের রাসেল
as i knew! i spoke with my sponsor to transfer my visa from immigration to under ministry of the labour under one of sponsor. this is 6 months basis transfer procedure. for this reason i need both parties Approval with Ministry OF THE Labour's some formalities. After all discussion with my current sponsor. He suggest me to hold it till 1st of January 2016.as he mentioned..... it will be easy to change any visa inside the uae. effectively 1st of January2016
Are you sure UAE Visa will be open January, 2016 ? Please Try to hard for opening visa, May Allah Bless you & your member.
as beinga businessman I visited today UAE, new consular office,Dhaka. my token number was 802. i asked to know about Tourism visa but consular office staff replied me today the news which published in the daily news paper today (with the reference of our Hon. Minister) it is not correct. not yet decided any about Tourist/Transit visa.
