I want to go to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from Toronto, Canada through Turkish airlines. The Turkish plane will stop by Istanbul airport and then head to Ethiopia. I am wondering if transit visa is required at Turkish airport. Can anybody who knows the requirements help me with information please? Thank you

I am travelling on Tuesday December 16,2014. My passport expires June 05,2015 I am unable to get the visa online. Do i need a new passport or i can go in and get the visa?
