I received the below job offer from this person who claimed he is Dr Khan but from HR department of the above company. I made immediate contact with Turkish embassy and they confirmed they are scam, so beware

I received a job offer from a company Tomasón OIL CORPORATION, TURKEY headquarters. They asked me to contact Mr. EREB DILGIL , an official of the Turkish Embassy to clear unknowns . I wonder if the above is true? Please help to clarify.

It was our understanding that an agreement between Colombia and Turkey was signed for traveling without a Visa. However, we were requested to have a Turkish visa this week (23 Apr. 2013) when trying to get all things set for our trip to Itstambul.
Can you provide an explanation?
