I came to your office by bus 63 times, I wrote a letter 40 times and so on.
To: The Branch Office of the UNHCR protection in Khartoum
Khartum Sudan
Dear Sir/Madam,
Kadir Dhaba Nagawo I am an Oromo refugee who fled my country of origin due to continued political persecution that had perpetuated and affected seriously the entire life of my family to the extent I was left with no option other than to flee my country of origin to rescue my life.
As you know, I am in a great problem and that is why I always come to your office on foot and also write email everyday and phone to you all the time. The condition in which I am living now might not be clear for you. I inform you, what is going to happen to me. You say that please don’t come, don’t write and don’t always phone. But I always do that, because, I in advance understood what is going to happen to me. The reason why I always come to you is that I am in a very dangerous condition. I write email and phone to you, because, you are the one who can solve my problem. The great and very dangerous problem I am facing this time is that the security of Sudan and Ethiopia are seriously following me; they are about to catch me. There is a proverb in Oromo language “ Muka irra taa’anii, muka hinhamatan” means, climbing on a tree or sitting in a tree, it is not good to say bad thing about that tree. When I come to your office even afraid to tell my problem to the Sudanese.
I have told you when I visited your office that On 21/12/1999 I was picked from my residential premises at around 10pm at night and I had been imprisoned tortured and suffered two times by Ethiopian government. I was taken to Ziway detention center about 600 kilo meters away from my home . I was incarcerated and inhumanly tortured by the solders of the government brutally and inhumanly and put me under harsh interrogation. And finally I got released on 23/10/2001.When I was in Ziway prison cell I got a Red Cross ID card and I was registered my parents name as well. My file No./ Id No. given to me by red cross was 037375
For the second time, in 25/05/2005 I was detained again ,and the security officers raided my house at 2pm and confiscated my properties and took me to a clandestine place where I spent under untold draconian, inhuman and agonizing circumstances hard to express for four years. The security forces tore down my ID card which was given to me by the International Red Cross when I was in prison at Ziway detention center. Because of the torture and the harsh situation I went through, my health became highly deteriorated and when I was getting weaker and weaker by day, they removed me from the cell on 17/11/2009.
I wrote explaining the problem I faced and sent to your office 15 times. In case, if I am caught by Ethiopian government for the third time that will be the end of my life. That is why this government is seriously following me.

Thus please, you who are in the office of UNHCR in Khartoum, Sudan, before this terrible government kill me let you try to save my life. I can not pass two nights in a house. I have to change the house I live in every day and night. Even if I do so, I can not save my life from this cruel government. I afraid this government as wild animal. That is why I came to your office by bus 63 times, I wrote a letter 40 times and so on.

So, you who are in the office of UNHCR, in Khartoum, in Sudan, please, let you help me, and try to save my life.
,Yours faithfully
