Seek Solutions
DEAR Sir/Madam
It is very absurd that people should suffer when they are not the cause of a problem.
There are many Cameroonian students who are finding it very difficult to apply for a residence permit for studies just becaise there is no consulate in Cameroon.
Considering the fact that Cameroon is a poor country, how does the Swedish Immigration expect students to pay thier round trip flight ticket to kinshasha, hotel bills, consulate charges and other miscellanous charges during the trip?
Please the Immigration should try to seek lasting solution to this problem in order to help humanity and improving the educational standard of the world.

Is this discrimination or what?
I think closing Swedish consulates in Cameroon sounds like blocking the education rights and freedom of Cameroonains to study in Sweden. It will be stressful and expensive for Cameroonains who have been granted admissions to study in Sweden to go to Kinshasa for their residence permits i think if there is any reason of closing these consulates, it should not affect the future Cameroonian students who have interested in taking thier further studies in sweden.something should be done about it.

what is happening to the swedish consulates
Dear sir,
i am a Cameroonian who has gained admission into a Swedish university but unfortunately cannot continue with the visa acquisition process because of the closures of both Swedish consulates in Cameroon.sir,it is so costly for Cameroonian applicants to travel all the way to Kinshasa just to deposit their documents.i wish that the Swedish immigration board do something really fast to arrest these irregularities because to many Cameroonians we are not being treated fairly or its either a means to discourage Cameroonians from studying in Sweden. This whole issue is in itself ''UNFAIR and UNREASONABLE'.we hope that something is done so urgently so that admitted students can have ample time to prepare for traveling this august.

It's a Shame
I taught that only the Black skin People are corrupt, why should we suffer for a crime we are not a Party to?We are interested in studying in Sweden and if the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affaires Ministry finds out that it's Foreign Representatives are corrupt they should sanction them by Replacement Rather than Chasing the Shadow and leaving the Substance,REPLACEMENT of old Corrupt and Inefficient Staffs is the Best.
I do here by Rest My Case while waiting for a favourable Reply.
PRINCESS,Cameroonian.

Dont understand all of this
I just applied to study in Sweden and now i hear that Visa services of Douala have been transfered to Kinshasa. To me all i can say is that if the swedish Government is not interested in having Cameroonian students in Sweden, its just better to say so out right.
Thanks

The need for a representative office in Cameroon
Dear people of the diplomatic core, I understand that the suspension of the Swedish consulate in Cameroon was necesary because of the abnormalities that were going on there. At the same time I think it is important to have a consulate office in Cameroon considering the fact that many Cameroonians are interested in studying in Sweden. Well, I think the Administration should find competent secretaries who do not have corrupt minds to work with the consulate.

Be open and straight
I wish to state here that since the Swedish consulate in Douala-Cameroon was suspended from receiving documents /applications, it sounds so abnormal that there are many Cameroonians whose decisions have been in your embassy for more than a month just because they have not received the decisions from the immigration and it is there in your machine(system) but you do not want to inform people. Please if you are having problems with our consulate do not extend it to other Cameroonians. I am sure your problem is a diplomatic one but the way you are responding to it against Cameroonians who applied study permits sounds extremely odd. I am urging you that if you people at the embassy in Kinshasa can not handle our applications, try uplift the suspension and reinstate our consulate for us to apply and receive our decisions here in Cameroon and also inform all those who have been granted resident permits by phone or email and keep the bias that you have with Cameroonians aside.
