OBTAINING VISAS
IN AS MUCH AS WE ALL KNOW THAT ONE THING OR THE OTHER MIGHT HAD LET TO THE SUSPENSION OF BOTH SWEDISH EMBASCY IN CAMEROON. THERE CAN ALWAYS BE A SOLUTION BUT NOT A REFUSAL..IT IS VERY IMPOSSIBLE FOR OTHER NATIONS TO FIND THEIR COUNTRY NOT SUITABLE FOR THEM BUT YET OTHER NATIONS ARE ASKED TO VISIT SUCH A NATION. CAMEROONIANS CAN NOT RISK THEIR LIVES TO VISIT CONGO FOR A VISA. SWEDISH IMMIGRATION BOARD SHOULD GIVE A RETHINK AND ENCOURAGE PATRIOTISM AMONG NATIONS.

I wouldn't go that far to criticize the Swedish government that much all I blame is the Cameroon government with it's weak diplomacy cause if Cameroon got a robust diplomacy, many things would have been taken into consideration before such action.we all no how much a true Cameroonian can spend to travel to Sweden.Men lets move on and check out the next destination.Are U interested to travel to south Korea then contact schools very cheap,cost U less than 1.8 million with job opportunity.efufa_9@yahoo.com,base buea number 77495902 .

please make a way to solve the problems of my brothers and sisters in cameroon who really wish to come to sweden for studies.

resident permit
i am a cameroonian and presently in cameroon.
it has always been my wish to study in sweden because of its good educational facilities,culture and other issues.
I really do not know what to say to the closure of both swedish consulate in cameroon.its really a pity because most cameroonians admitted to swedish universities are really discourage about the resident permit purpose.i dont know if it is a way stopping cameroonians from studing in swedn.is better to stoop granting cameroonians admission in to your universities than trying to pretend

I found something on the Swedish Immigration board site about submission of applications for applicants with no consulate in their country.They said from the 21st applications will be received by post.How authentic is this please I want to know.

please stop complaining and speak in a reasonable manner to the swedish authorities. the consulate staff was crrupt but cameroonians too were takind advantage of that. the swedish embassy has the right to ensure everyone going to sweden must be in the right in all ways. kinshasa is far , expensive and risky but asking the swedish government to leave the country would not help matters and is not going to happen. if we all write constructive criticism it might move the swedish authorities to do something. i encourage comments on this issue so that we could all bewnefits. hope we succeed.

DISGUSTING
I HV TRIED ALL WAYS OF GETTING A SWEDISH VISAS.THE ITALIAN EMB IN CAM IS BOOKED 6 MONTHS IN ADVANCE AND ALL OTHER EMBASSIES ARE NOT WILLING TO COOPERATE WITH THE SCHENGEN STUFF. ARE U GUYS OK WITH THIS SUFFERING?REACT CAUSE KINSHASA IS VERY FAR

What a shame on part of Sweden
Why on earth will the immigration of Sweden send Cameroonian to an unrest location such as Congo? Not only is the unrest political situation of Congo which is a problem but the expenditure only for the application process will cost approximately €4000 for the Swedish study application including fees, hotel bills and application documents. The income which has been alloted for studies will therefore be use only for application for resident permit. This is but true that Sweden has blocked Cameroonians from entering their country or is otherwise the immigration of Sweden holds and explanation to this unprecedented pitfall against Cameroonians.
If that is the case then Swedish should fold all their belongings and leave Cameroon within the next few hours.
We have neighbouring Nigeria where there is sweden embassy there why on earth should Cameroonian be directed to Congo, Kinshasa or is it some form or arrangement to kill cameroonians in Congo? The Congolese are running away from the country but cameroonians are directed to apply for visa there. i think the international community especially human right have something to say about this decision of sending cameroonians to a politically unrest country.

Am so confused
i have been graded admission to study i sweden,but the way i see things now . with the closure of the swedish consulate in cameroon ,am left with no choice but to abandone the process.i can"t see myself going to kinshasha to ask for a visa.please for the seek of those that a still interested swedish government do something quickly to remedy this situation.As for me am done.

ITS A SHAME WHEN I GOT TO DOUALA YESTERDAY TO REQEST FOR A TOURIST VISA TO SWEDEN FROM LIMBE AND I WAS TOLD TO GO TO YAOUNDE TO DROP MY DEMAND AT THE ITALIAN EMBASSY.YOU CANT IMAGINE ME PAYING TRANSPORT FROM LIMBE TO YAOUNDE WITH MY SISTER AND JUST TO BE TOLD THAT WE WHERE SUPPOSED TO BOOK AND APPOINTMENT BEFORE COMING TO DROP OUR DOCS.AS IF THAT WAS NOT ENOUGH ,I WHEN ONLINE WITH THE ADDRESS THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME AT THE ITALIAN EMBASSY TO TRY AND SEE IF I COULD BOOK ONE SO I BE SCHEDULE FOR THE NEXT DAY TO AVOID US PAYING TRANSPORT AND GOING BACK TO LIMBE ,TO COME AGAIN.A REPLY CAME TO ME AFTER SOME FEW MOMENT THAT I COULD ONLY HAVE A RESERVATION TO DROP MY DOCUMENTS BUT ON THE 3rd OF SEPT 2010.LOOK AT THE DATE OF TODAY.WHAT I SHAME I CRIED.
