I am writing the expression of interest as below in order to explore the possibility for building partnership and collaboration with South Korean Embassy in Ethiopia. It is my sincere belief
that such partnership creates opportunity for lesson learning and forging collaborations between the two organizations in contributing towards the achievement of supporting young people of the country.
Youth Culture Development Foundation (YCDF) has so far demonstrated its capability to deliver various programs consistent with its mission and vision since its establishment in 2013. YCDF is actively engaged promoting gender sensitive pedagogy through inquiry based teaching, maternal health, sustainable environment, livelihoods and active citizenship; where young people feel empowered to engage peaceably with others in sustainable development of their communities through the intercultural dialogue, appreciating once own identity, values and culture. In the areas of education, it has been engaged in the promotion of Inquiry Based Learning in STEM Classrooms (the 5E learning Cycle from 2014-2017) in which it designed and executed interventions in selected schools across the country in collaboration with parents, teacher unions, community-based organizations and education coalitions.
Therefore, here is to request the embassy for similar partnership and collaboration through working in similar areas.
