@Lalit - without job offer. Can that be a reason for the delay?
Hi Guys,
I applied for CSV on 22nd of Aug. Since then status on VFS website is "Application has been received at the “The Consulate General of the Republic of South Africa, Mumbai”." I am calling VFS customer support almost everyday and every time reply is same - "Your application is under process".
Is there anyone who applied Visa in the month of Aug and has not received Visa yet? Or is there anyone whose application was successful and already received Visa?
Let me know guys. I will take the same measure to get it speed up.
Called again today, still plain rude answers and hang ups. Lady on the phone from visa section says officials are not ready to disclose any information on pending cases. I think they will sit with all the applications till next year as I can see they are already in the holiday mood.

I've submitted critical skill assessment letter on 13th Dec, waiting for CSV outcome.
How do you know that all Oct applications are finalized ?
Have you been told so by VFS or Consulate ?
All October applications have been released

I have managed to get through to Visa Section at Consulate General of Mumbai on above mentioned number.
@Prakash is correct in saying that staff are very rude & hang up the phone. Please keep trying until you get through.
They aren't simply bothered to provide better service or to employ better staff because we are at their mercy. We need visa, they don't need us in fact they don't want us. They just don't care.
Hi when the embassy is closing for year end holidays.
These are the email ids of the immigration officers if you wish to write to them.
