ICT Visa Through
Everyone,

I received my ICT visa on Friday. I had applied in January 2017. A few pointers which might help you with the application process are below. These are the pointers I followed myself with no guidance or consultation. However, considering that I got results using this approach, please feel free to try these on your end:

- First and foremost, please ensure ALL your documents are as credible as they get and are all verifiable with the authorities. Example, my PCC was 7.5 months old and the one demanded by the consulate is 6 months old. Instead of taking my chances with that, I flew to Delhi, reapplied for a PCC and submitted my application with the newer one.

- Having stayed in 4 different countries, all for more than 1 year, I reapplied for PCCs from there as well and submitted all of them alongside my application.

- Despite of the VFS calling it unnecessary, I insisted to submit multiple other documents with my application to add weight and credibility. These documents included my company incorporation and registration papers certified by a notary, my SA company registration papers certified by a Commissioner Of Oaths (COO), my work plans in SA including government IDs of people I will be working with, also certified by a COO, contracts and qualifications of these people etc. Note that none of these documents are required or listed on the embassy website however I submitted them for the Consulate to verify as many details as they want to using these sources.

- Lastly, I also submitted my last 6 months salary slips. VFS said they were not necessary, but I wanted to add weight to the fact that I do, infact work for my home company and have a clear ITR record.

One thing to note is that if you have been to SA previously on a permit, it might help boosting your application chances more than usual.

In this entire process, I did not email Mashaba or anyone from the consulate. I did however, reach out to the consulate via phone calls 4 times. They were always very kind and polite to me. I never spoke to the same person twice it was always someone new on the phone and everyone was equally polite.

As some of you might know, my first application was submitted in late November which was rejected in exactly one month's time due to lack of certain documents despite of me having submitted those documents in the first place.

Overall, what I have learnt is this: quite a good number of the applications submitted to the consulate have something or another suspicious about their documentation. This is not because your application might be forged but simply because the consulate has learnt from their mistakes and hence check each application with a microscopic eye. I do not blame them for this. Its their country and they have the right to screen every individual who attempts to enter there. If they find anything suspicious, they wait until they have verified it completely and in that process, most applications get stuck in limbo and hence don't receive a response for 4+ months.

However, if you have nothing to hide and all documents provided are as original and verifiable as they come, then I believe there is no reason to provide as many documents as possible to add as much credibility as possible.

Once this is done, the consulate will definitely award you with a visa before time.

I wish everyone on this page good luck. God bless you guys and hope you all get your visas in time.

In case of any questions, I might not be available on this forum but you can always reach out to me on dinogrodriguez88@gmail.com

Whatever small amount of information I have I am happy to share it.

Good luck.

All quriers Answer
Dear Applicants

@Mr. Rajesh Kumar Verma

As per your query you have applied a tourist visa for south Africa along with your wife.
There is no need to submit your wife's financial documents if she is House wife ,you can submit your proper financial documents e.g. last 3 months bank statements ,salary slip and any other saving .
You can sponsor your spouse visa .

In case embassy will ask any other documents, you can submit a self supporting sponsor letter for her visa .

@ ICT VISA

AS Per your query your visa got rejected due to insufficient documents.
"Failure to provide proof of relationship between Indian and South African Company."

It will be better if you can reapply your visa as reappear processing time is more than 4-5 months .
For the documentation you can contact me .

@ Amol

Mr. Amol you can submit a request letter to in the VFS for fast processing.

In case should you have any other queries feel free to contact me .
