Dependant visa renewal
My son Yashkumar Dipakbhai Brahmbhatt applied for south african visa on Dependant status, he is studying in india ,this is third time renewal of his dependant visa still not received answer.We understand it is in process of verification.he is coming for holiday.we parent wait for him and his vacation will finish but visa will not come is a course to us.His passport no is H 9497348 and is application referance no is DHMU 190413/0007/01 I have Rs.40000 is still with embassy since last renewalof TRP please reply on My email address: dbrahmbhatt@afripack.co.za I hope your excellency CONSULATE GENERAL will resolve this matter to see my son .his vacation finishing next month.

Visa application at a South African Consulate in Mumbai
Where is the consulate, I am a South African, I want to apply for visa's for my in-laws, I know that Indian passport has free visa into South Africa but I can't find the application on your site? Can you provide me with some answer? I don't want to go through agents, a side kick or any agents please, just deal directly as I do in other countries.

inordinate delay in issuing visitors visa
My daughter in law applied for visitors visa along with her infant daughter on 30th January 2013 at VFS global.the reference no being DHMU/300113/0046/01 & 02.
we were given to understand that visa is processed in 10 days time.
since it did not come in 10 days we inquired and were told that since my son is in South Africa on TRP they need verification from South African Pretoria office.which normally takes 2 months.
now it is more than 3 months and we have not received the visa. Mumbai counselor has confirmed that our application is in order we have also paid security deposit of Rs 40000 per applicant but still we are not getting any information about our visa.
I would be obliged if this case can be brought to the notice of the high commissioner or any appropriate authority to solve this problem.will be obliged to get a reply.

Visa processing
Hi,
There is no transparency on the visa processing. We have applied for tourist visa and right now have no idea as to how far along are we in the whole process. No one can give information and there is no way to withdraw the application.
Frankly, you make it too difficult for a tourist to visit your country and I would not recommend anyone to go to SA for tourism given the visa hassels.
