Dear Vice Consular I have invited my young brother-in-law, Adil Hanifbhai Mansuri ( passport no: K6046087) (D.O.B. 18-06-1996) for a visit to South Africa. DHMU/140313/0014/0

Dear Vice Consular,

I, Willliam A. Nessen, (passport no.) have invited my young brother-in-law, Adil Hanifbhai Mansuri ( passport no: K6046087) (D.O.B. 18-06-1996) for a visit to South Africa.

Adil had applied for a short term visitor’s back on March 14 2013, reference no. DHMU/140313/0014/01.

After many months, the South African General Consulate in Mumbai finally called Adil on 24 June 2013 directing him to come to an interview on the 2 July.

Adil, a resident of Godhra in Gujarat, traveled seven hours by train to Mumbai.

From the start, however, the security guards were extremely rude toward him and sister and brother who accompanied him. As they waited for the consulate to open, it was raining very hard and there were no shelters nearby.

Adil went inside the Consulate for his scheduled interview. To Adil’s surprise, however, the clerk simply told Adil to come back on 15 July. The clerk gave no explanation. Outside, Adil’s brother told Adil to go back inside and ask why they couldn’t see him today. Why had he been asked to come and then sent him off?

The clerk would only repeatedly say, “ Come back on the 15th.” Aadil went back outside, but his brother again told him to go back inside and ask for an explanation. The clerk then told Adil that the interviewer had gone to Africa.

How can we be assured that the same thing won’t happen again when Adil returns on July 15? He has already waited since mid-March, four months, to get his visa. It is almost past the time that he could possibly make this trip.

I beseech you to make sure that he is interviewed and can obtain a visa to make this long-awaited journey to see family in Cape Town.

Many Thanks,

William Nessen

DHMU/140313/0014/01 Adil Hanifbhai Mansuri ( passport no: K6046087) (D.O.B. 18-06-1996) for a visit to South Africa.
Dear vise consular,

I, Willliam A. Nessen, have invited my young brother-in-law, Adil Hanifbhai Mansuri ( passport no: K6046087) (D.O.B. 18-06-1996) for a visit to South Africa.

Adil had applied for a short term visitor’s since March 14 2013, The reference no. of the application is DHMU/140313/0014/01.

After a long await, The South African General Consulate, in Mumbai, had called Adil on the 24th of June 2013 requesting an interview on the 2nd of July 2013.

Adil is a residence of Godhra, Gujarat. Adil with his brother and sister went to Mumbai as requested by the South African General Cosulate, bearing a rough seven hours of journey in a train, standing up, because their seats were not confirmed, yet.

Adil had arrived at the Consulate three hours before the scheduled interview waiting for his time of interview, 9 am.

From the start the security guards were being very disrespectful towards Adil and his brother and sister while they were waiting for the consulate to open. it was raining very hard and there were no near by shelters and still the guards told them to go away and come back at 9 o’clock. So, Adil and his brother and sister went somewhereelse to find some shelter from the heavy rain and came back at 9 am, as stated.

Adil went inside the Consulate, alone, as requested. After a mere 10 minutes, inside, he came out of the Consulate. The clerk inside had told Adil to come back on the 15th of July, again. Hearing this unjustified answer from the clerk, Sufiyan Mansuri, Adil’s brother, told Adil to go back inside and ask why suddenly the schedule has changed. And if the interview was supposed to happen in the 15th than why did they call us and made us travel such a distant?

As requested, Adil went back inside the Consulate and asked the clerk, why a sudden change in the schedule. The clerk was constantly repeating the same unjustified answer, “ come back on the 15th”. Adil came back out but Sufiyan told him to go back inside and ask him, again, what is the reason of the rescheduling? Adil went back inside and the clirk said to him that the interviewer has gone to “Africa”.

Dear vise consular, I request that you see through this matter and make a sound conclusion of why such a disrespectful communication occurred from the Consulate. I would like to know why the consulate did not call Adil if the interviewer was out of Mumbai. In that case Adil would not have to travel such a distant and spend a lot of money and waste a whole day.
THANK YOU
Raghavendra
