Comments on this Consulate-General
With all the above comments, it seems the SA consulate takes a very long time to process VISA.
I will be in India for 13 days in Jun. Can anyone advice me how to get the transit VISA done in short time in SA consulate in India. Any provisions to get this done on urgent basis, even if with extra fees etc.
Any updates regarding depandent visas ??
I did applied on 28-02-2014 in Mumbai for
tourist visa for my family and still i didn't get
my passports yet as the status is same from
almost two months and i sent again hotel booking and tickets for 1 june 2014 and it will be submit tomorrow in VFS mumbai lets see now.
When you applied?
All - Promising news coming through over past couple of days...the mumbai centre has been completing ICT requests for all applicants and couple of my friends with applications dates of 28th jan and 18th feb have recd their visa's...How much of this can be for reasons of following up with DHA in SA to expedite is any one's call...however application progress in mumbai is on fast track re ICT

got another update from the Director - Foreign Office Support (DHA). As per him the teams have now cleared all of backlog of Mumbai and 80% of Delhi.
Couple of friends who had applied end Jan in Mumbai have recd their visa today
Any visa updates ?? Anybody got visa today ??
Hey navin , Congrats for the permit. Did u applied for General work permit or was it a ICT ?
Please let us know because I applied for ICT in January and still waiting.
