I applied on 9th April and got Visa on 6th May. Lost almost INR 20000 due to delay.
applied on 28 Jan and received on 8 may
As such thr is no format.just mention clearly the reason to expedite and submit the same.I really dnt think dat casts much effect coj aftr submitting the lettr since my husband was ill at.dat time ..i recvd Visa nearly after 40 days of lettr submission.Bt still u must try..I wud like to also state that caling VFS wont help ppl like us coj theey r just collectn and dispatch window.Nw they r clearing Jan applications(i applied on 28 jan) the rest of applications wil take time.may b by month end.

I had submitted an expedition letter on 31st Mar...at VFS mumbai.mailed the same to mashabat@dirco.gov.za and wiidd@dirco.gov.za..thanks for wishes

Got my Visa..the update on VFS site is showing processed application is handed over to Blue dart for delivery on 8th May 2014...All the best to all.
I called embassy yestrday and surprisingly they answrd the call asked my passport numbr and date of application and assured the Visa will be issued in 2 - 3 more days.lets hope..but the VFS website is getting hanged so any status cant b sought.
Any updates ?? Change in status or anything ??
