This correspondence is to bring to your knowledge the rampant corruption & blackmailing being practiced by all the Pakistani travel agents dealing in Umra visas in collaboration of many Saudi travel agents.
As a result of their exploitation (free of cost) visas are being sold for at least Rs. 40,000/- each. When Rs. 60,000/- of return air ticket is added the pilgrimage costs Rs. 100,000/- that is equal to Hajj expenses. Thus even the middle class Pakistanis are barred from performing Umra who, powerless to do anything, curse these agents appointed by your administration.
As your country, harboring holy places, has been blessed by Allah, you will reckon it your responsibility to see that the wish to perform Umra, profoundly present in the heart of every Musalman, is fulfilled.
My humble suggestion in this respect is: get rid of agents & commence issuing Umra visas from Consulates & Embassies.
