Dearest family and friends, my younger brother has been lying at the Rigs hospital intensive care since Saturday July 19th where he was unconscious. When the ambulance took him to the hospital he had broken his left arm, his kidneys were not functioning, his heart was weak and he had an infection in the blood.
My brother Petoy regularly visits him in the hospital, but I have difficulties going there because of my foot problem.
Victorianos condition is not good (50/50). I have arranged with father Benny, catholic priest, to visit him and give him sacraments of confession, communion and anointing. This will help him spiritually and hopefully also help him to get better physically.
The staff at the hospital says that he will be in good care, and I thank them for keeping me informed.
My brother has been living in Denmark from 1979 to 1998. He came back in 2008 to try and reapply for a residence permit, but it has not been granted and he is therefore not covered by the national health insurance, and he is likely to be deported out of Denmark if he recovers.
We always look for solutions to solve our problems outside faith. Perhaps we think we can solve our own problems and conquer our obstacles ourselves, though we are putting our trust in god to help us get through this. Please join us in this act of faith as we pray for my brother Victoriano’s hopeful recovery and eternal redemption. We admit that we cannot do this ourselves only, which is why we humbly are seeking your advice and support.
Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and prayers. We are in great need of any kind of assistance, and whatever you can offer will be greatly appreciated, monetarily or not.
