Today dated 05th of Sept. 2013 I had been to Royal Police of Oman for conversion of my Qatar licenses to Omani Licenses. I was asked to bring a from Ministry of Interior Traffic Department in Qatar. As when asked for what was the purpose of the letter as I had a valid driving license of Qatar which expires in Dec 2014 No answer were given except saying that's the new rule of the country.
Request the Qatar Embassy in Oman to take up the issue with the Oman Ministry
