Good day,
We received our recidency via Portugal through the golden visa application. It is up for renewal. Can we renew it is South Africa, or do we need to do it at the original office in Portugal?
Thank you.
I need to start the process of getting my documents and that of my daughters in order, how do I go about it and what would the costs be? Mine will be a renewal of all documents, my children will be brand new applications. Their father was a South African citizen and has passed away in 2009. We were legally married. My oldest daughter is 21 and she is currently in the USA. Will I still be able to start the process for her without her being here or can she go to her nearest Portuguese Embassy/Consulate to apply?
Good day to all
My mother is Portuguese, my father is deceased (Portuguese), i was born in Venezuela now residing in South Africa and a South African citizenship.
Am I allowed to apply for a Portuguese passport, if (Yes) i would like to know what documents I need and what is my first move.
Thanks
Best Regards
MR Ferreira

Hi,
I would like to know it would be possible to obtain a Portuguese Passport, if only my Father is a Portuguese Citizen, with a validated Portuguese Passport.
I would like to find out what documents are needed to renew a Portuguese passport. What are the costs involved and how long does it take?
Kind regards,
Yigal

Good day,
I Portuguese married to South African. I am trying for years to register our marriage in Portugal but am not able to get my husbands unabridged birth certificate from our Home Affairs offices in Pretoria. I have applied 4 times and every time we get sent extra documents to fill in and no one seems to find his records. He has an south african ID , pays taxes, been to the military but no one can find his vault copy birth certificate. We have applied again filled in extra forms last year and again had extra forms to fill in. etc
Will a normal birth certificate and ID not be sufficient to register our marriage? Unfortunately SA Home Affairs are not efficient.
Thank you
