Bom dia Ezekiel,
Glad to hear from you and know that your process is in the final stages, parabens!
That’s also cool that you are planning on heading to Portugal. A lot of good food in Portugal. Lisboa will make you feel nostalgic. The architectural similarities, the way of life, so many fine things that will draw you bake in time, with Goa. I remember Goa in the early eighties....A vida que tivemos! Eu faltar da cidade de goa.
Thanks for the info on VPN etc. this is good info. Wasn't really aware that there was a secure way to got on the WWW.....
I had submitted my father’s documents in Junho, vinte e dezessete and till date there's absolutely no word from the powers to be, although I had provided three original documents issued by republica Portuguesa as part of the entire package at the time of submission. The law firm in Lisboa would do regular follow-ups, but the powers to be just refuse to provide any status update.
Tome cuidado e continuamos em contacto.
Stay well my friend.
Saudades,
This is a test. Trying to respond to Ezekiel, but my 10 liner response doesn't go thru.
Not heard of any such thing for the coming weeks
Hi guys,
Is there a strike next week in CRC,
I too would like to know how to find file number not given by the agent, just as I saw a message in the group.
Can someone please advise if birth registration records are only done in Lisbon or can it be done in any other province of Portugal. Is there any website where birth registration status can be checked?
I reckon that it's about four to five months wait time now.
Murrel, I had sent a message with links to some reliable barristers. Perhaps you could go to the previous page and check it out. If anyone else knows of reliable barristers, please do share as it would be conducive to other people's interests to start their Portuguese citizenship process.
Olá John, feliz Ano Novo,
No; I'm still in Goa, I'm due to leave for Portugal and eventually UK this year, as my process has reached the final stage as I'm expecting my birth to be registered by September.
The reason for the flag change is due to the fact that I've started using a VPN or virtual private network. On the technical side, that protects my location and hence my identity from being traced, hence it ensures protection and safety. It makes use of servers based outside of the country, hence sometimes you may see a German flag or a Spanish flag etc. I reckon there are others here as well, who maybe knowingly or unknowingly using VPNs as well.
Good to hear from you again, friend.
Saudades,
os melhores cumprimentos
Ezekiel
Greetings and happy new year Ezekiel!
Your name now shows up with the German flag.
Are you now based in Germany?
Saudades,
John
