I started the process in Twenty Fifteen to register my Mother's birth with one agent and then in Twenty Sixteen with another agent for my birth and in between I had paid a few agents to push my case as it got stuck after the verification failed.
Both these agents passed away in the last one year!

Glad you didn't stop there and made your way out of this mess ! But can you just tell me who is that arrogant and greedy agent who charged you such a high fees and yet didn't bother to inform your case was completed.

Got a good news of mine to share.
Post Sixty One case, applied in Twenty Sixteen and case rejected in Twenty Seventeen as Birth Certificate Verification failed. Agent and Lawyer demanded full fees second time to apply as a fresh case but I refused to pay as I had already spent more than Rs. Four Lakhs including on my mother’s registration. Meanwhile in Twenty Eighteen I got my Birth Certificate uploaded online and wrote to the Portugese Consulate of the same. As no lawyer to follow up I gave up all hopes.
Two years passed by and few days back I paid one agent Hundred Euros to just check the status and was happily shocked to know that my Birth was registered in June Twenty Twenty.
This is a Miracle.
For those cases blocked and have no lawyer to follow up, kindly get the status checked and some of you maybe lucky to find that your birth is already registered provided all the required documents were submitted.

You can't proceed without marriage process! How are you gonna prove your relation with the person who's pre case was submitted! You can submit it together but it will processed in systematic way first marriage then yours.

After pre-sixtyone process what is the next process? Marriage or dirrectly my assento process. Some say you can do marriage and my assento together others say you can do directly my assento process without doing my mother's marriage process.

Can anyone tell me which acquisition date to write in the passport surrender form?
Is it the date of issue written on Portuguese passport ?

Citizen Card & Passport
Hi,
I have my Birth Registered in Portugal and received a copy of my Assento de Nascimento.
I have a valid UK tourist visa, can I travel to London and apply for my Citizen Card and Passport at the Portugese Consulate in London ? How many days will it take to get the Citizen Card and the Passport?
Please advise.
