There is a missing name of my father on my passport. His Name on his TEOR is Julian Dominic Augustine Almeida but on my Indian passport his name is Julian Dominic Almeida. He is no more so I cannot change his name on my passport. Is it compulsory to submit my passport to CRC at the time of his birth registration ? Will CRC accept my aadhar card or any other document instead ? I dont know what to do abt this . Someone please help . tnx.

Sammy when did they send for verification? Consulate has a lot of backlog these days so this could be one reason. Normally they reply quite fast
Why embassy dont respond on verification i have been told from crc that they sent already and indian authority too answered..now when i have inquired no response...my solicitor sent them an email even he is not gettin no response...

These days consulate is busy only with renewals of citizens card or BI and passports. Once they finish renewal process they will give us appointment via mail so Keep on checking your mail regularly.
I heard it is being planned for next week.

After submission if documents instead if asking for birth verification they asked for marriage verification thru consulate in Goa. So called due diligence. There was no news after that, then in January this year my agent told me my case is thru and to apply for marriage I waited for copy of acent which just came yesterday.

I didn't understand the verification part. For your mother's birth they asked to verify her marriage or her parents marriage?
I finally received the copy of my mothers acent yesterday through agent. Submitted in July twenty seventeen. It took three years and three months in spite of submitting old bilhithe as supporting document. They asked for verification of my mothers marriage verification.
