Thank you Rahul for the information you shared.
I have a few questions about marriage registration
Does anyone have any experience in correcting the name on their marriage certificate?
I do not have a birth certificate issued by the BMC as the records are not available during that period. (will this be an issue?)
Onika: Best option is to get from Lisbon where you can get in three days. In other Countries you have to stay for long time as CC and PP come from Lisbon and not printed and issued by the Embassy. So basically it's not feasible to go to any Country to get your CC and PP.
I want to know which month BI appointment is going on.
Hi guys, I wanted to find out about getting the ID card and Portuguese passport in another country is possible?
Since many people have mentioned that there is a long waiting list to get an appointment in the Portuguese embassy in india... I checked online and found that the Portuguese embassy have a lot of appointments available in the Portuguese embassy in Shanghai..
I was thinking post covid, once I get my Birth Registration done, can I fly to another country like Thailand/China/Australia/New Zealand (except Portugal) and get my BI and passport made there? if so how long would it take?
Replace last four words by numbers
Again extremely useful information. Could I have your email ID please.
Yes you can enter Portugal directly if you have mentioned Portugal as First entry port on your visa application to France. It will take you max three days to obtain CC and Passport. Total expense will be no more than One hundred Sixty Euros. You can contact me if you want more detailed info
That's right I would be travelling on Schengen Visa obtained from French Embassy. Can I directly enter Portugal or I have to travel to Paris first ? Please share the charges for CC and PP and let me know how many days I have to stay in Lisbon and what documents I have to bring. Once again thank you.
Plz update on post cases.
