Yes you will work your way up only if you have raw talent as in india people will use politics and lick their bosses boots but here if your not up-to it you will be shown the doors

Fake degree holders and fake educational certificate holders are removed with dignity here and then blacklisted on the labor portal so no one other person hires anywhere else in UK or EU

Majority goans are known for domestic help and other Petty jobs

As I said earlier only the elite goans who are educated make it to higher positions

But then too the crab Goan mentality exists here too of pulling each other down and if can't do anything getting jealous of others

It's not UK we are talking about its the eu read clearly
And as stated earlier it's only one percent of goans who are educated and working in skilled jobs those goans are mostly from Mumbai or other parts of India

I do understand people people have different positions and different levels.

Most of the Goans who are in UK are waiters , bartenders, cashier's etc. There are some at higher level too.

But from my friend in UK who is not skilled. She said she was much happier in UK. During the pandemic people got eighty percent of thier salary sitting at home. That's where the high tax paying comes. At least the government was able to provide. Here in Goa they did not even give eight paise, senior citizen money has not come in months. One of friend state was very bad..lost their job despite being MSc...so friends from UK & other from Ireland helped..
She said the quality of life can't be compared , she said life is not easy there BUT it's much better in Europe & UK than in India.

We have already researched & are well aware of the suitiation out there..but Goan people are willing to go with what they get & work thier way up.

Speaking of I.t requirements in Norway yes they are available
And so do in Ireland too

However as I said the pay is less and plus there are taxes

Rent and food becomes expensive too

People with hardcore it experience like coding programming are the ones who make good amount of money even after paying the above expenses.

But assuming and even I have seen most of the goan diaspora here are into waiter, bartender or cleaning jobs and few into sales or customer service. only the elite one percent are working in skilled line of profession perhaps may be you

So you can imagine how things can go for them

I don’t know about Germany so I won’t comment on that. But I have visited Norway multiple times and everyone knows English. The other Nordic countries are similar.

My friend who is a software engineer and works for Allianz doesn’t speak Norwegian despite living there for five years.

There is a very high demand for software engineers and other technical jobs in Norway and you don’t need to know Norwegian for these jobs. The only drawback is companies are reluctant to sponsor you and that’s where Portuguese citizenship helps.

If you are skilled (really skilled, not with fake degrees) and only speak English Norway is a good place to go to. You have to be able to do the job, a fake degree won’t help with that.

John real goan
The eu owes debt to UK
UK debt is not of concern regards to employment
Brexit was done to end free movement and cheap labor coming in so now they are only taking in as per requirement

Here people are feeling the crunch who campaigned for brexit as restaurant owners use to hire cheap workers from eu but they are all OK with the fact that wanted it that way

However German GDP is better then UK right now and it's only in Germany you can get paid good after UK
But again taxation and cost of living is higher

Someone suggested Greece here Greece economy is in huge debt and jobs and living is hard to come

So it's up-to people to decide whether or not to take the dive

UK plans to hire Indians Pakistani and Bangladeshi and the macau and honk Kong community with in definite right to remain visa for cheaper labor outside eu with added tax on salary and no permanent visa or pr option so no more British citizen ship
