Agents are of no use. You can do all the work yourself anyway. They are merely postmen in between your work. Step one is to get a good advocate in Lisbon, there are many. Do not use Goans or Indians contact original Portuguese. Then explain your requirement. They will send you list of docs needed. Then you take some time and effort and collect the docs. Scan and send them. They will analyse and advise. Affidavits resolve any minor divergencies. Portuguese advocate wants all perfect docs. But you convince them and minor divergence and they will assist. Do not pay any money before they give in writing that the process can go ahead. Goans dont waste time with agents. agents thrive on your laziness. do research find facts and you can do everything by yourself. it will save you tension and money.
