Thanks. Once my documents are sent to register my birth in Portugal, do you know if going to Portugal after the documents are received, would help with expediting my part of the process?
Understood. In your opinion, which would be best: collecting the Portuguese passport and citizen card in Portugal, or waiting for it to reach the Consulate and collecting it from Panjim?
Shayne, by 8-24 months, are you referring to both birth and marriage registration?
Looks like the first process is happening faster..As mentioned by Shayne 8 - 24 months. Now guys pray that it can come much earlier..God can make the whole process done in 9-11 months...like before....
First cases before 1961 takes 8-24 months, after that 10-12 months.
