In that case yours will go for manual verification which will take quite long one to one and a half year approx. The CRC does not check the gap online website they do a manual verification which goes through MEA.
15 working days for BI fast process and 6 weeks for normal
I haven't applied for OCI yet. Will be applying somewhere around July. Waiting to see in case for some reason I am not able to do my son's OCI in India then we may do it here together.
The surrender and everything was done later. Im not sure if they seen the BI. They must have as all the documents were submitted to them even if it is not mentioned. I really don't remember. My son will be doing his within a month. He applied for passport on Wednesday. Maybe will pay attention then to everything and let u know. Sorry cant be of much help :)

You mean to say on goaonline.gov.in on this website, as I have come to know that this website is not accessible and not furnished properly for the public it is only availble for the government offices. Everytime i try to check on line it only gives the acknowledgement no. but cannot retrieve the teor or birth certificate on line. Does anybody have any info regarding this goaonline. Thanks

You mean to say your Birth registration? It'd it's online verificable then it will be done in 1 years time from date of application.
