Can any one tell which month the process for pre 1961 going on.. thanks in advance ... god bless you all....
Well 1939records you won't get as birth registration became mandatory after 1969 in Bombay. You can use the Baptism certificate that will work you dont need the BMC certificate for birth registration for 1939.
Hi everyone, in May 2017 a friend of mine had applied for a birth certificate extract at the ward office Mumbai for birth year 1939. When she visited the ward office health department last week, she was informed that the records are not traceable even at the bmc head office. Does this mean that she is now entitled to receive a non-availability certificate? If any of you have done this procedure recently, I would appreciate if you could kindly let me know how we should proceed so that she is not taken for a ride by the BMC ward officials.
