Election card.
Figure out about the hologram id card since you do not have one.
Rectify the name to read the same as your passport and assento.
So submit documents that have your correct name. Like bank statement, school leaving certificate,
Pan card.
Try to avoid documents that would have your goa address.
Once you have rectified the name. Immediately cancel your voter's id.
To cancel you need to submit copy of the Portuguese passport and original hologram id card.


About ration card.
Just get it cancelled. Say you want to transfer to Goa.
Submit the Xerox of cancellation to FRRO
Basically they want your name off the ration. So you are just doing that.

Go to FRRO and ask them complete list of documents to be submitted.
They have a declaration format.
Plus you got to make cover letters. So get it all sorted.
Show them the documents you have.
So you know if you are fine with the voter's id and ration card scenario.

Then upload all stuff online on frro website.

There will be police verification
Then payment rs.10,000 approx (online payment only)
Then you will get entry visa on email and by post.

Louis and Manuel why are u after Daman and Diu people what did they do to u, it is not good dimish other people on the group. We r all same understand ur from Goa and i am from Diu, and there must be other people from other countries who are making their process. Not Goa and Diu only.

Indian passport initially had mumbai address - got it changed to goa as I had parents name change etc , so got address change to goa- not a good idea but convenient at the time. My aadhar also has goa address.
Most of my docs ( birth marraiage etc )are mumbai based.
I will start with changing election card to correct name as passport- should i change the address on election card to goa? I have never voted so this never came up, besides was always out on work.
Ration card - I only need to cancel - is that right?
I need to tie up stuff before leaving, so will do oci from india - just in case i overshoot stay in india.
After the election card is done and ration card cancelled- shd i apply to frro Goa for entry visa?

how verification is done?
Guys , could some one update how is the verification done currently ? Could anyone update on the same ?

Most of them take full payments onlyn in exceptional cases they might consider half payments.
