Disappointing Services
Hi
We lodge a visa for someone working PNG, it is approved by PNG Immigrations but needs to be stamped in Fiji. Well to get that visa stamped in Fiji, the applicant needs tolodge a 2nd application to Fiji office - they dont have systems that sych with PNG Immigration where they can reference copy of the application lodged. After lodging the 2nd application in Fiji, you have to wait for the minimum number of days for processing. According to the staff there, they have to send copies of the applications to, Fiji Government (Foreign Affairs) to approve as well before any Fiji Citizen is allowed out of the country. this means to process a visa takes total of 1 month and a half.

You call up the office landline, there is hardly an aswer. Lucky if you get through to any of the officers mobile numbers, they either dont answer the call or switch off their phones.

You call the office landline, you will not get a proper answer - always indefinite. The visa is not processed until the person responsible is at work. This week, officer is on leave for 1 week, the visa application will not be processed until back from leave.

If you seek to speak with higher authorities, senior person, they refuse to give out their information.

What a terribly disappointing service you provide in Fiji.

Unfortunately, just a year ago, services were effecient, friendly and very professional. We are far from that right now and it is sad to see.
