Thank-you for excellent service
Dear Secretary Hera Kevau,

I am writing to let you know how pleased I was with the excellent and rapid service I received from your office last month.

I am an American citizen who is living and working in Port Moresby. I recently changed jobs and needed to convert my work visa to a special exemption visa, and of course, needed to leave PNG to do so. I was able to come and stay in Fiji while the visa was being processed, but had only a very narrow window of time before I needed to be back in POM, and I was very nervous about the potential for delay in processing my visa. However, not only did the office here in POM expedite my request, but on the same day my visa was approved, your staff took my passport and had the stamp inserted in time for me to make my originally scheduled flight back to PNG the next morning!

I want to specifically thank Letila Ravea for her responsiveness to my request, and for keeping me informed of the process. She cheerfully took my visa on Tuesday morning and had the visa in my passport by 3pm!

I am extremely grateful for her extra effort and want to congratulate you on your excellent staff.

Best,
Kathryn Smith
