Comments on this High Commission
It has been hell for Zambians who have been seeking to travel to Nigeria for spiritual and religious visits. Co ordinators for SCAM visits in Zambia have been victims of the on going anarch at the Nigerian embassy because they are failing to secure VISA stickers for their clients which as resulted in discontentment among Zambians aspiring to travel to Nigeria for spiritual healing and other religious activities.
For instance, a co ordinator arranged for Seven day visit to SCAM in September 2015 but the group has not travelled six months down the line despite having deposited VISA fees in Nigerian High Commission bank account held with UBA arcades branch on the pretext that there are no VISA stickers. It should be noted that most of these people who are part of these group visits are poor Zambians who sold properties or borrowed money just to travel for spiritual healing to Nigeria.
I wish to appeal to the Nigerian government to look into this issue and intervene. The consular managing the Nigerian embassy in Zambia is incompetent, undiplomatic, and is putting the name of the great African nation of Nigeria in disrepute.
We have been waiting for visa stickers for the past 3 months in order for us to process our visas to Nigeria but to no avail. Can the authorities concerned clarify why the stickers have taken this long to be availed?

I am a Zambian who lives in Lusaka and who has traveled to Nigeria not once.My young sister is happily married to a Nigerian from the East.Recently i feel very disappointed with the Embassy in Lusaka beca of the way Zambians have been treated.
I put in my visa application because we have a funeral in the East and for the past 1 month we ve been told they dont have Visa stickers Today has been the worst because when we went to check,they told us to go back at 13.00hrs and a good number of us where there from 13.00hrs outside the Embassy, the guards were instructed not to open for us and for good 3 and half hours,no one attended to us .it was at 15.45 that someone came by the gate to tell us tgey are still waiting for a response from Abuja.
I dont think Zambian embassy in Abuja can treat Nigerians like this.Its very embarrassing for the entire Nigerian Embassy.
The only consoletion is that Zambians are patient and none violent.
Please can someone address this issue ASAP.
