Graft and corruption
Your people are the most vile. Murdering, lying people on earth.
Who could possibly want to deal with you

Stressed out to the bone.
I am at my breaking point with this useless, good for nothing Nigerian Embassy. When I made the 4 hour journey to Canberra, I was shocked to see my Visa laying on the table which they said had been mailed. I almost broke down in tears. The only great thing there is the receptionist.

Mixture of Success
I can say my dealings with the NHC in Canberra was frustrating in the least. It took three attempts to have my visa app approved and a peronal visit to the NHC in Canberra all the way from Perth to get it completed. However with out the help of the receptionist I believe my application would not have been put through. Stick with it, fill the forms correctly, make multiple copies of everything for reapplication and constantly consult with their consular service via the telephone inside of the aloted timings and you will get it done. Patience and persistance people.

Naija is good.
The problem we Nigerians have is that we are very good at destructive and disastrous criticisms of the government and public officers. If we can learn to be more reasonable and constructive in our criticisms, it will do us all and the nation more good. Moreso, let us learn to exercise a little bit of patience in our dealings with offices and public places. Naija is good.

NIGERIAN EMBASSY, CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA
The entire process, over a five week period, with three different Visitor Visa Applications, was an abject failure on the part of the Embassy to deliver services prescribed.
There was a complete failure of duty of care towards me as an Applicant by being supplied with misleading information, by not allowing me at any stage to know why my previous applications were rejected, by not allowing me contact with the Consular dealing with my application, disregard of urgent emails received by the Embassy from me, and the constant and consistent difficulties with the Embassy telephone system which is non-operational for the most part.
The Embassy has an appalling and shameful reputation that is building fast. God help anyone unfortunate enough to have to deal with this Embassy. Be prepared to have Urgent Processing Fees ignored, many reapplications to submit with new fees each time, countless and expensive phone calls without genuine assistance.
God save Nigeria. This Embassy is doing its best to ruin Nigeria's chances of prosperity through Tourism. An utter disgrace for a Government agency to act in such an unprofessional manner and work as prescribed in their mandate.
Have some SHAME!

Shame & Disgust
The incompetence is taken for granted (this is Nigeria after all) but the utter disdain for any kind of communication is truly heartbreaking. We can forgive incompetence if communications suggest we are trying but if we simply pretend we cannot hear the screams will only get louder.
My application has been spuriously denied - I am to obtain further proofs and reapply. I have 5 days till departure but no one can confirm they will process and return by then.

I can sense the subtext of the message - Nigerians requesting Visas to visit their own country are being punished for daring to have foreign passports..

We Need a Solution
hello everyone that is a citizen of nigeria we should not criticize our nation we should look for solutions to our problems maybe see if we can write a letter to the ambassador to know whats wrong or we write a letter back home for a change of ambassador or something of that nature and see if it works..We all know that our country is bad due to our leaders are selfish and it really affecting us both home and abroad but hopefully i know someday God will intervene to this bad governance that has ruin our image as a country.thanks and god bless nigeria and its citizens am proudly Nigerian against all odds.
