I rang the Harwich office for advice prior to my move to NL. I was diverted to a mobile phone and had to leave a message - a male rang back quickly but did not introduce himself and I still do not know who I spoke to - I was asking for advice on traveling with my Pet Bird - the advice on NL Customs is not the same as the consular site - he said he 'Didn't have a clue and to ring the Marine Police in Holland' I work currently in the public sector and thought the way my inquiry was dealt with was rather unprofessional.
