To MALIKAH BAATJES
Normally you are eligible for Dutch citizenship if your father was a citizen at the time of your birth. If this is the case, and you have documentary evidence, it's a straightforward procedure.

DUTCH CITIZENSHIP
Dear Sir/Madam,
I believe that one can apply for Dutch citizenship, if your ancestory is dutch.
My father's name is William Baatjes.
My grandfather's name was Willem Baatjes(My father's father), he also fought in the second world war in Italy. I don't know what his father's name was.
The older generation never used to keep records, so I don't know much detail.
Is it possible for me to apply for Dutch citizenship?
And if yes, what are the procedures that I would have to follow?
I am now 47 years of age and my Dad is not interested in applying.
Thank you, Very Grateful
