I am about to attend a DBS check for children tutoring however they are asking me to present a certificate of good conduct because I have been living in UK for less than 5 years, so I would like to know how to get it please.

has anyone obtained one of these to fulfil a police check in the UK? How on earth do I obtain one. I can't get through to anyone on the phone and there is nothing on their site.

I am looking for some advice regarding a possible Trip to Mexico with my wife who is of Kazakh nationality, we are planning a trip to Mexico with our children who hold British passports, my wife does not have a British passport as yet, but has a 2 year settlement visa for the UK until 2016, would she have to require a Visa to travel/Visit Mexico for a 2 week holiday???if yes would she need to appear in person at the Mexican Embassy in London, or can she send her passport by courier??

I was appalled to hear of the murder of Maria Santos Gorrostieta. Please do more to protect the very people who want to improve life in you country. Let anyone who has taken drugs or sold drugs be a conspirator in this most heinous murder.
