I want to apply for a job permit or a mexican residence so I can work in Mexico in a call center I'm guatemalan, and will like to residence in mexico instead
Im German, living in Mexico. I must go out next week from Mexico for a temporal resident visum for work in Mexico. I have the aggreement from the migration en CDMX for the next four years. Which papers I need at the embassy in Guatemala, how are the costs and how much time it will take there (and when they will have opened)? Eho can give to me informations?
I am a US Citizen with US passport, and I also hold a pensionado DPI for Guatemala Residence.
I have scheduled a 4 day trip to Cancun, flying from and back to Guatemala City.
However, my US passport is scheduled to expire 3 weeks after my return flight from Cancun.
The US Embassy site in Guatemala says that Mexico requires 6 months on passports or entry to Mexico will be rejected.
But US Embassy site is the only source of information I can find which says this. I checked with the airline and they say that no such policy exists. The airline (Volaris) says that I will have no problem entering Mexico with my current passport.
Can someone please confirm or deny this information? There is not enough time for me to renew my US passport before my trip begins.
