Emergency passport

My bag along with my passport and identity card got stolen in Paris. How may I proceed to do my temporary passport? I have already made the police report.

Let me know soon because I called the embassy and the operator spoke in French!
Is there an emergency 24 hour passport lost helpline or something?

visa for going to malaysia for a colombian student that is living in France,
Malaysian embassy,

I'm a Colombian student who is currently undertaking his PhD Thesis in Lyon, France (I've a student French Visa). As part of my work, I am planning to participate in a conference that is going to be held in Sarawak, Malaysia, from September 7th to 12th of 2014. Therefore, I will really appreciate if you can point me out what's the process for requiring a Visa (in case it is needed). Should I go to your embassy in Paris? Should I schedule an appointment? Which are the required documents?

Thank you so much for your attention and collaboration,
Kawsar Ahmed
