The Bachelor of Arts in History 4-1 students will hold a seminar with the theme, A Retrospective Look on the Culture, Literature and Politics of Africa. It will be held on the 31st of August 2010 from 8:00AM-4:00PM at the Bulwagang Bonifacio, Ninoy Aquino Learning Resource Center, Polytechnic University of the Philippines Sta. Mesa, Manila. In view of this, may we ask your good office’s assistance on this event by way of lending several pictures or posters about your country- i.e. culture, literature, politics, and places on 30th of August 2010?
The goals of the seminar are as follows:
1. To appreciate and value the African culture and tradition;
2. To familiarize students with the preservation of African history and historical sites;
3. To discover the role of Africa on world history; and
4. To discover how Africa survived the modern times despite destructions and social problems.
