You can apply for a Schengen visa at the French or German embassy in Kathmandu.
I can't believe if you have a student visa to the US on your Nepali Passport and you want to visit Italy on a family vacation you can't apply for a shengen visa from Nepal!
I need to attend a meeting in Rome I have the letter sent by the organisation what type of visa do I apply and how?in how many days do I get it.

Iam jeny pathak, i am in italy now arrived 21 march i am affried to return back in nepal soon case of broken our home by earthquck..so i remember thats and not so well but i have vis only for 3th may so please can you make me other visa ? i want to study here...please ..let me know how can to stay here other if can you make me visa i will send my passport by post..
