Application For Humanitarian assistance
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Dear Sir or Madam,

As I have repeatedly been raped and beaten after being taken as a hostage for two years in my home country, I ask a protected refugee status because I am unwilling to return to Somalia due to well founded fear of persecution, torture and ill-treatment targeted on me; in addition, I have no rights of employment or education here in Ethiopia where I fled on May this year of 2009 after my escape in search of safety and life but have got no medical aid and shelter so far.

Being young I have experienced the most difficult life threatening events and I have compelling compassionate circumstances to ask your help and support; therefore, I would like to be able to have the chance to tell you things in details.

In view of the above, I ask that you consider my application in accordance with human rights and international laws.

HOPING TOHEAR FROM YOU SOON.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,
Habiba
