Habib and i although on political oposite sides.. became FRIENDS....

He told me upon his expelsion form USA and Germany that it wasn't safe for me to come to his country.
It has been long enough... where is my friend Habib ??

I was born in Canada and am a Canadian citizen. I am planning a tourist backpacking trip for myself to Iran and a few neighbouring countries beginning the end of December 2013.
Can I get a tourist visa for Iran?
Do I have to get it ahead of time or can I pick it up upon arrival?
Would you please send me all the relevant information that I require to apply for the Visa.
