My Iranian passport expired and I am going to Iran on December 2nd. I live in Canada and have my Canadian passport. I am afraid if I send my documents to Washington I wont be able to get it back in time. Does anyone know how long it takes in Washington? Or in Iran?

i have a valid canadian passport but my iranian passport expired, can i still go to iran and renew my iranian passport their? will they let me in?

I am currently living in vancouver and planning on taking a vacation to Iran soon. My passport, however, expired around 4 months ago. Unfortunately, I dont have my canadian passport yet. As I don't have any family back there, would my friend be able to renew it for me?

Mrs Pari, yes you can renew your passport in Iran. I had the same situation. It took only two weeks and it was much cheaper than here. of course you can send your documents to Iranian embassy in Washington and they will renew it for you, but renewing it in Iran is mush easier. Good Luck
